The Club at 12 Oaks is Hiring a Pool Manager Near Holly Springs, NC
I. Job Summary:
- Supervise safe, clean, well-organized, and appealing club swimming Pool facilities.
- There are three pools at this location, and a Pool Manager will be assigned to each pool.
II. Job Tasks and Duties:
- Supervise and observe swimmers to ensure their safety, making sure the Lifeguards maintain safety and surveillance.
- Supervise Lifeguards to conform with club/ safety standards.
- Formulate weekly/bi-weekly schedules and rotations for Lifeguards, conduct a daily CPO check, and log in the record book. Make sure staff are clocking in and out when they are starting and finishing a shift, with the help of the Aquatics Director.
- Conduct swim tests for the youth members and guests and maintain an active list/record of swimmers/non-swimmers with the help of the Aquatics Director. Maintain and enforce rules of a non-swimmer and swimmer and policies at the pool.
- Maintain proper chemical balance in the pool assigned to. Make sure the pump room and chemical rooms are organized and maintained per safety regulations with the help of the Aquatics Director.
- Supervise Lifeguards/ help support or perform pool vacuuming, empty skimmers, scrub tiles, and skim pool sufficiently to always maintain a clean pool.
- Supervise Lifeguards to make sure they are maintaining a clean pool area, including a clean and orderly pool deck, clean restrooms, trash receptacles, etc.
- Maintain pool equipment in coordination with the Aquatics Director.
- Make sure sign-in sheets are maintained for all members and charge for pool guests.
- Enforce club rules.
- Maintain ratios with members to Lifeguard numbers.
- Maintain all necessary records concerning pool attendance, pool chemical use, incident reports, member complaints, staff schedules, etc.
- Keep the Aquatics Director informed of all incidents, staffing difficulties, member complaints, and other problems that occur at the pool, and overall communication.
- Attend all meetings as directed by the Aquatics Director.
- There will be times that you may need to be in the rotation/on the guard stand as a Lifeguard depending on the staffing.
III. Reports to: Aquatics Director.
IV. Supervises: Lifeguards.
Job Types: Seasonal part-time.
Pay: $18 hour.
Schedule:
- 4-8 hour shifts.
- Monday-Friday.
- Weekend availability.
- Seasonal.
V. Certifications:
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and First Aid, and CPR, AED for the Professional Rescuer.
- If you do not hold a current certification, then that will be provided for you once you become an employee.
- CPO - Certified Pool Operator, if you do not currently have certification, that will be provided for you once you become an employee.
